Search for member through "Search Members" option in the tool bar. Type the Users name or person you are searching for by first and last name into the text area and press "Search" button. After finding the user that you are looking for, you will be able to view the users profile. I have chosen Stephanie in my user search and have accessed her profile.

I can Contact Stephanie by selecting "Contact" from the Actions Panel. This will bring me to the email editor for quick contact access.

I want to add Stephanie as a friend.  I will need to select "Friend Request" from the Actions Panel to invite Stephanie to be my friend.

I can also send Stephanie a Greeting, by selecting "Greeting" inside the Actions Panel.

After Stephanie accepts my friend request - we will be friends. You can contact people and send messages to any user without being their friend.
