After Joining, Make sure you try the following to maximize your experience here. Finish Your Profile - Make sure you have filled out the Fostering Info section of your Profile. This will ensure former foster children or parents will be able to find you Search for Former Family - Click the Connect to Family section to see if you can reconnect with family right away. Post in the Forums - If you want to post a general notice about someone you are trying to find, Post in the Searching for someone section of Forums Be patient – It may take some time to find those you are looking for. Network with other Members – Other members may have had success here or with other resources connecting to family. If you find what works or doesn’t work, share your ideas and experiences! Befriend other members and help build a strong online community. Chat, Email and Walls are all built right into the site so you can participate freely while not giving out all of your personal information if you choose Spread the Word – The more people we can have join across the country, the better chance of re-connecting families.
